if you are a knitter, you know just how much ripping out can add to your total time working on a project. take this seemingly innocent looking cardigan i knit for Emma, for example. it was to be done in time to put under the tree, but you can see we are well into January as i write this. here you see only one sweater, but really, i made much more than that.
