Frances designed herself this hoodie a couple of years ago. we found a scotty dog in a pattern book and we made the pattern for the pair. she liked wearing a sweatshirt that Mary's babysitter bought for her when she was two years old at an Evanston church rummage sale. it was red and had Rudolph and a girl reindeer touching noses on the front. it fell into the category of ugly things that seem to fit forever. anyway, Frances wanted a sweater in the same style. it is a great practical sweater, really warm, a hood in case it is too warm for a whole hat, and a pocket to keep treasures, or warm your hands. also a good color to hide spills. i knit most of this on my first trip to India.
