oh my lordy, this was supposed to be a PAIR of socks that match.  Ian didn't do so well last Christmas, either as you can see.  he sweetly tried to wear these, but a few minutes into it, the heel was up on top of his foot.  i am not quite sure where i went wrong, but the fair isle is pretty.
