tres jolie!  i made this a few years ago from a pattern in a 1970's Mon Tricot magazine.  i tried my best to finish it to be worn on the 4th of July, but was unsuccessful.  Mary did wear it for a couple of years to school with tights in cooler months.  for the last two years or so it has had a second life as a sleep sack for a doll.
