i knit this sweater in panels with the stitches running horizontally. the top two rows were shaped by short rowing, which took several attempts to get the right amount of curve. i chose undyed wool for its humble appearance, yet it is also surprisingly soft and cozy. the"cement" buttons were leftovers from years ago.
